David Hempleman-Adams

“I wish everyone taking part in the NDCS
North Pole Expedition the best of luck! I know how tough
such a challenge is, but with the right training and
mental attitude, they will do it. Life is an adventure
and the NDCS team really are making the most of it!”
In 1984 David set a new record as the first person to
successfully complete a solo expedition to the Magnetic
North Pole without the support of dogs, snowmobiles or
air supplies and in 1992 he led the first team to walk
unsupported to the North Geomagnetic Pole.

“Good luck to everyone taking part in the
NDCS North Pole Expedition! This is an extreme challenge
and will be incredibly hard work, but the Arctic is the
most wonderful and challenging environment in the whole
world. The team will literally see the ice and snow move
in front of their eyes. Nature at it's most raw.”

“I wish everyone taking part in the NDCS
North Pole Expedition the best of luck! To reach the
North Pole the team are going to have to cover 70 miles
of the most hostile wilderness on earth and that will
involve a lot of hard work and determination. I hope
everyone is training hard - this will be a real
adventure!"
Pen Hadow – Only person to have trekked solo, without
resupply from Canada to Geographic North Pole. Only
Briton to have trekked to both Poles without resupply.

"Walking the last 70 miles to the North
Pole may not sound far, but when you consider ten times
as many people have climbed Everest, you can be sure
this expedition will be huge adventure for those
fortunate enough to take part. Good luck!"
Ray Mears
"I would like to wish the team going out
to the North Pole best wishes, and good luck. It is one
of the most amazing environments on earth and the
scenery is stunning."
