The need for accurate
document comparison is not new. When creating contracts perhaps more than in any
other business activity, accuracy is crucial; a missing word could change the
whole meaning of a paragraph or even a document. Current document comparison
programs, however, are not delivering the level of accuracy required. Moreover,
since they don't integrate with document management systems (DMS), they actually
introduce another layer of complexity into the process of working with
documents.

fast and easy to use. It integrates with document management systems to provide
a new level of functionality to the user. It is also the entry point to a suite
of products designed to automate the process of document collaboration among
professionals, the second stage of which is called Workshare Synergy™. A number
of other products currently exist which highlight changes in documents. However,
these mass-market programs are only designed to cope with very simple documents
and they are not suitable for legal or business documents.
