is the creator of innovative solutions for moving paper to the digital
world. The company developed a patented paper-to-digital process called
KwikTag® that provides breakthrough simplicity for the capture and
management of incoming paper and electronic documents.
LEGAL
Law firms and legal departments have made significant
investments in the organization of electronic records, yet there still
is a gap in capturing all the information assets. Paper keeps coming in
the door and file rooms have not been incorporated into the new matter
centric strategies.
Information in paper documents is equally, and in some
cases, more valuable than automated records. The challenge is compounded
by growing compliance regulations that dictate an auditable process.
Until now, it took an army of scanning personnel and programmers to
incorporate the paper.
It doesn’t get any easier than KwikTag.
Today, that’s a different story with KwikTag. We spent
hours studying the behavior of office workers and their paper in order to
build a solution that could be used by everyone from the receptionist to the
attorneys. KwikTag leverages existing office resources like copiers and fax
machines and uses processes already adopted, like the Post-it® Note.
KwikTag uses a simple three-step patented process to
capture your paper documents that does not disrupt a user’s work
patterns. Additionally, you can drag and drop electronic documents such
as emails, text documents and spreadsheets right into the KwikTag
repository or your own repository.
Paper is Everywhere, So is KwikTag.
KwikTag is used by law firms and legal departments in the
front office and the back office to support a variety of functions like:
An Enterprise Platform
You can use KwikTag Basic as a complete electronic filing
application or you can use one of the packaged applications such as
KwikTag for Interwoven or KwikTag for CMS.Net, where documents are
captured and retrieved right from inside the existing application.
Your IT staff will be happy because KwikTag is stable and
repeatable across the enterprise. You can simply expand the number of
users, create new customized drawers for the next department, or add
another packaged application.
